Reasons vs Emotions

“Good emotions come from proper investment in your relationship” – Bishop James.

Yesterday, at the Love Therapy seminar, attendees learned the essential lesson of reasons vs emotions. The message was breakdown into three categories; good, misleading, and bad emotions which are the result of daily choices.

Good emotions – which is quite the opposite of what many think, these emotions just don’t happen they need to be thought through and worked on. After an argument no one wants to sit and have a romantic candle-lit dinner with their partner, right? Therefore, good emotions are the result of a build-up of good gestures throughout the day, so that when that special moment comes it will indeed be special without the pointing of the finger.

Misleading and bad emotions – The heart is deceitful and can lead many relationships astray due to poor choices. Singletons make rushed decisions based on their first time meeting a person simply because of what they feel, couples fall for the trap of infidelity so it’s no surprise that the Bible states: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?”(Jeremiah 17:9)

A thriving relationship only happens when intelligent love rules, that is mind over the heart.

Attendees learned the secret to a successful relationship is to give based on Intelligent love.

No matter your love life status if you would like to attend, The Love Therapy seminar you are welcome to, it takes place every Thursday at 8pm at the Rainbow Theatre.

In addition to the seminar, The Love Talk Show airs on Liberty Radio Monday to Friday after the special Be Inspired program from 11pm. On this show presenters Pastor Willian and Mrs Bruna share tips on how to avoid the pitfalls of love and maintain a happy healthy relationship.
