In previous Love Therapy seminars, we learned that God made human beings with a need to love and be loved, and to meet this need He created love, family and marriage.
During this month at Love Therapy meetings, we are focusing on how a person can fight against loneliness. So, if you’re single and dream of finding someone to build a family with, you can’t miss this!
Before we go any further, we’d like to take a minute and explain that there’s a difference between being alone and being lonely. Being “alone” is the physical state of being by yourself. Everyone should learn to be content in their own company. No one besides yourself should have control over your happiness.
On the other hand, being “lonely” is more of an emotion matter, when you feel alone or disconnected from others – even when they’re right next to you.
It’s not just single people who feel lonely, there are many married couples who, despite having someone by their side, suffer from loneliness—this can be physical, intellectual, emotional or spiritual. When you are married, deep inside you want to be cared for, you want assured that your partner loves you. A lonely person does not experience this.
So, instead of trying to fill this gap from lack of affection through social media in vain, come and seek the realisation of God’s plan for your love life at the Love Therapy seminar, especially as we are focused on fighting against loneliness throughout the month of August.
We will help you overcome relationships problems through the Word of God and equip you with what you need to steer your love life in the right direction. The meetings are a great learning tool no matter your relationship status.
