Abraham was a man who just wanted one son, but of whom God made the father of a great nation.
“I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”” (Genesis 12:2-3)
Not only did God surpass Abraham’s expectations with his request, but he was blessed in every area of his life. He was in a faithful and long-lasting marriage with Sarah; he was “very rich in livestock, in silver and in
gold” (Genesis 13:2); through faith, he was given more children than he could have imagined; he lived a long life, free from sicknesses, and had a solid relationship with God. He was faithful until the end.
Just like Abraham, God doesn’t just want you to be blessed in a certain area of your life and for the other areas to be lagging. He wants you to be the blessing, and consequently, your whole life will be blessed.
Join us on Thursday, as 7 pastors will determine the same blessing of Abraham described in Genesis 12:2-3, in your life today.
Please come wearing a face covering and follow all social distancing guidelines.
