This purpose is inspired by the Word of God, where it says:

‘Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.’ Ecclesiastes 4:12

The Threefold Cord Pact signifies your relationship with God first, you second and your spouse/partner third. When you chose to invest in your spiritual life you will have the right guidance to resolve all matters dealing with love, after all God is the source of love Himself. With a strong relationship with God your relationship/marriage will not be easily broken.
